This is my prayer in the desert...

I couldn't sleep this morning, so I decided to throw on the earplugs and drown myself in worship. In searching for a new song I came across this video.

If you've ever struggled with knowing that you need to worship, but carry the weight of trials that make it so difficult, you will relate to and cherish this powerful song.

The testimony at the beginning lays a beautiful path to walk right up to His throne and sing Him praises.
Enjoy.

Very powerful Sue. Worshiping our Father really is our answer. Especially when we don't feel like it.

Hope you have a great Sunday!

It warms my heart to watch the video with young people singing out their hearts and worshiping the Lord. Yes, in the midst of my circumstances ...I choose to worship God. Thanks for this powerful testimony and reminder.

((((hugs))))) Would you like a cup of tea and some Kleenex? Sometimes, it helps.

So true! What an incredible testimony that praise is a choice. Apparently, God gave her the song before she had to walk out its truth. I love that He prepares us to praise Him like that! He is so good!

What a wonderful song, Sue! This is also my prayer in the desert.I have been very heavy hearted still after the election. Yes, God is in control and I trust Him fully. I am praying for our leadership and our nation.
I needed to hear that testimony and song! Sue, thank you for your encouragement to me and so many others. Thank you for your heart!

I feel like I can really relate to her testimony and am so thankful for the reminder to press into worship in spite of our circumstances or our lack of feeling God's presence in these times in our lives.... Thanks for sharing it!

When in those desert times, we need to keep on leaning on Jesus - so true! He really does carry us through. His love for us does not change, even if we may feel it has. He gave His life for us, what more could He give?

I remember after my first husband died feeling very "lost", but I continued to serve and led songs at our Vacation Bible school, even inbetween the tears. The Lord is good and His mercy is everlasting. Praise Him!

P.S. I'm reading backwards, catching up. Great interview with Karen and God bless on your special girls night :)
