Facing a Red Sea?

With an angry mob following close behind you?
Don't fear, trust in the Lord.

He has experience dealing with these kinds of things!

He delivered His children...
Exodus 14:21-22
21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.

NIV

Then he took care of their enemies...
Ex 14:23-31
23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 25 He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt."

26 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen." 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the LORD swept them into the sea. 28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen — the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.

29 But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. 30 That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore. 31 And when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.
NIV

Nothing is too big for our God!!!
That same God who did these miracles cares deeply about you and your life circumstances.

What a great story to remind us all that our Lord will deliver!
I love how Moses was instructed when to stretch his rod out and he was obedient. I believe if we want the Lord to deliver us at the Red Sea, we must wait for God to instruct us how & what He wants us to do.
I love that the Egyptians could see that God was fighting for them.
I believe our enemy knows when God is fighting for His children.
Another great posting Sue, I needed it!

When the only way out is through, God will always provide a way. Your post is a great reminder of that!

Sue, Amen...waiting and expecting a miracle. I know without a doubt the "WATERS" are going to be divided and he will deliver. I need to be patience...available and obedient to HIS plan. When they do...I will be singing at the top of the mountain. You and Norma might even hear me.

Thank you so much for posting this, I pasted it in an email to my sister because she is going through an incredibly hard time right now. Under attack in every way someone can be and threatened with loss of great magnitude, she needs to hear that the Lord CAN deliver!

Thanks Sue...I have several "Red Seas" in the past few years and He has delivered me and mine out of them sometimes very quickly, almost immediately and other times the "waters" were a tad slower in parting..BUT they did part and I gave Him the praise then and I give Him the praise now. I go back over them in my mind ever so often to remind me that He is faithful and He is true and He has never, never left me and He never, never will. This was a good reminder for me today..I did read it several days after you posted it...but He knew that I needed it today. As usual, you have blessed my life. May He bless you today with at least one desire of your heart. Eph. 3:20-21
