Hope

I opened my front door this week to a devastating sight. A young couple that my husband and I had ministered to on many occasions was standing there completely distraught. I could see it immediately. Their faces were heavy with pain and it scared me. I just said,
“what?!...what?!”

Then she fell into my arms and told me that she had lost her baby at 22 weeks in her pregnancy. They came in and we spent some time talking and praying.

I'm sorry to hear about them too. God is using you two as a vessel of strength and hope to them; it is nice that they can grieve with people who will give them comfort.

How heart breaking!

Many years ago, my husband and I lost our little one when I was 6 weeks pregnant, due to an Ectopic pregnancy.

I too had a special friend that encouraged me to grieve and then heal. We are still friends to this day and I have tired to comfort others in similar situations that God has brought into our lives.

I'm a first time reader of you blog and am delighted with what I've read so far. Thank you for sharing the heart of Christ with others in blogdom. :o)

I've been where this mom is now. It's a grief that paralyzes. I'm praying for both mom and dad <><

Blessings.

A few years ago we lost a son when I was 16 weeks pregnant and I delivered him. Though it was one of the most difficult times in our life, it was truly one of the most amazing times too. We were surrounded by so many who gave their support and validated that LIFE that God had given us.

There are some great resources available if you need any suggestions. :)
