He is Loyal Always and Ever!

Hello sweet friends!

This is our last day here and I am looking forward to going home! I love Christmas and I have lots of decorations to put up and lights to hang!!! Don't get me wrong, it's been a fun week, but I am a little homesick and I miss my son that couldn't come with us.

Here is a picture of our Thanksgiving dinner:

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and no one is getting injured while shopping!

I leave you with this precious verse out of the Message Bible:

Psalm 100
A Thanksgiving Psalm
On your feet now—applaud God!
Bring a gift of laughter,
Sing yourselves into His presence.
Know this: God is God, and God, God.
He made us; we didn't make Him.
We're His people, His well-tended sheep.
Enter with the password: "Thank you!"
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank Him.
Worship Him.
For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,
loyal always and ever.

AWESOME scripture...but isn't it all?! :)

I pray you have a safe trip home.
It's fun to go away. Its "funner" to head home sometimes.

No shopping injuries to report here. I'll head back out today to check things out. I pray for patience as soon as I exit the car!

Blessings~

I love that verse in The Message. BTW, I took your lead and decided to have a giveaway of my own! LOL Be sure to stop by and register to win! :)

Oh, yeah....here in Houston - it can be deadly to try and venture out the day after Thanksgiving. This is the day I clean house and get ready to set up the tree! :)

Happy Holidays!

Thanksgiving dinner looks like fun...but where is the SNOW? :-)

We've got snow here in our Canadian neck of the woods. Our trees are up and it's looking like "Christmas".

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Thanks Sue for always getnly reminding us from WHOM all our blessings come from.

We just got home tonight...just in time to watch the AU and AL IRON BOWL game. The boys are in there screaming at the tv and I just had to pop on and see where you were.

We left Alabama a day early...we were all ready to get back home and defrost some (it was 37 when we left and 82 when we got home today!!).

You guys have a safe trip home and we'll catch up after you get your tree up (we are doing ours tomorrow).

Take Care,
Melissa

It looks like you had an adventurous outdoor Thanksgiving.

I'm sure it will be nice to get home again...and to see your son!

I love the outdoors too, but sometimes its nice to be cozy inside one's own home sweet home.

I love the Message Bible. It's so beautifully written. If King David was alive today, He'd probably plug this version. ;)

Looks like you all had a wonderful feast, but I'm with you, there's no place like home.

I have to say, there are times when the Message just nails the translation on the head and this was one. Made me smile just to read it.
