One Year Anniversary of our Gotcha Day!

Lord, You saw her "red and screaming" on the steps of a Buddhist Temple in China and chose to coordinate her life so that she would end up in our arms...thank you so much!

We'll never be the same.

I can so remember this like it was yesterday! I would get up so early to hear about your day and to see her little face, our lord is sooo good. Auntie misses you Lauren and so does your cousin Brooke. Love the gymnastic outfit and those pig tales. One of the many good things a year has brought is hair.

I have loved reading through Lauren's adoption story.

Good friends of ours just got a picture of their new baby and will be leaving in 5-6 weeks to go get...HIM. They were floored. A boy! Going to call him Caleb. He is a real cutie. They do not know his story yet, other than he is 9 months old now but is very small.

We are all so excited!

By the way, my friend's name is Susan, too.

She is a blessed little girl and right where God knew she belonged. You and Mark are such great people and your precious daughter will know Jesus because of being placed in your arms. Isn't God awesome!
I see your mom commented. Tell her I said hello. We have great memories of your parents :)
Much love to all of you.
Did I ever tell you that my kids remember Mark being camp director at Aowakya? (sp). Those were great times!

Happy Homecoming Day, Lauren and family. As a mom by birth and adoption, I love such stories. Your family is beautiful.

Every time I see a picture of your precious little one I am reminded of something that I heard someone say at "The Call" in Nashville.

She said "It's not about parents wanting children...it's about children needing parents." It was a challenge to all christians to not only be praying for abortion to end but to also become a part of the solution. To adopt the little ones that are in need of a good safe place to grow up.

She is so beautiful... How awesome that the Lord took her from a Pagen temple and placed her with her family where she will know Him.
Congratulations.
