Lauren dancing with her brother!
Psalms 30:11-12
11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give You thanks forever. NIV

This little girl could be any one of us, once we had no hope, but now we can dance!
John 14:1818 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. NIV
Thank you Lord that You don't leave us as orphans- You come to us, You adopt us, You fill us, You LOVE us!

God is sooo Faithful to everyone of us!
I love to dance with my children....as they get older it is more to tease them than anything...they'll understand when they are dancing with their wee ones!

She is absolutely adorable. And yes mam - He is a Father to me...and I am ever thankful that He adopts us into His beloved. Praise Him.
PS - LOVE your 'Hebrew Names of God' link. I've been there a couple of years ago, and couldn't remember what link it was anymore here recently when I went searching. Ohh...so good!

Well,
If I didn't already want children, that just made me want one even more. So wonderfully cute!

God Bless!

i needed that reminder today, that he adopts us as his children. and though our mother and father may forsake us, the Lord NEVER will!!

ps - i love the new family picture. when i see lauren, sitting among the family who has CHOSEN her... i love that picture. adoption of children - in an earthly and spiritual sense - intentional. purposeful. an informed decision. (you mean, you KNOW the depths of my heart and still have chosen me, Lord?) permanent.

permanent.

This past week there was a very big meeting here in Colorado Springs about churches and adoption at Focus on the Family, but through Family Life. check out the Family Life web site...it may have details. But we saw a part of the talk and it was astounding about not making ourselves into their saviors, but in following God's command to tend to the widows and orphans.
I missed you! Your pictures are so wonderful!!
Love in Him,
Holly
