Is your life getting in the way of your testimony?

Ephesians 5:1-2
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
NIV

Do those who come in contact with us know that we are living a life of love?
Galatians 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
NIV

Does your walk match your talk?

I don't know about you, but I have just given myself something to work on!

Some folks don't know how to take sincere love without becoming skeptical. Yikes!

Excellent focus for the week, it is something that I work on daily...I am so very thankful that each day I get to start over even when I fall short the day before.

A needed reminder, Sue. An old saying: "You may be the only Bible someone reads."

I had to chuckle when I saw the comments. You're Sue, one of the other commenters is Susan, and I'm Susan. I feel like I'm back in grammar school with 5 Susan's in the classroom.

Blessings,
Susan :)

Thank you for the reminder, Sue! Recently my challenge has been to "walk the talk" in the area of trusting God in hard circumstances. I talk about trusting God, and now I have to really live that out...but it is so hard to not let those emotions get in the way! I hate it when, my children especially, see me struggling so much because I know that it is a poor testimony to them. I appreciate your challenge today...as I need to press on in this!!!
