The Name of JESUS!

Hello!
Back from a very busy and HOT weekend at the races. I don't think our trailer has ever been so busy! It was lots of fun and "our boys" on Team Allegan Motorsports did great! One of them is on his way to Belgium to compete on Team USA- go Jacob!!

I have been tagged twice, you sweet girls! Dori and Tammie Fay both want me to share the five things I dig about Jesus. I am the first to admit, I'm not very good at keeping up with these tags. But of course I would love to share the things I love about my Jesus!

Unfortunately, I don't have enough time today to share five things, because I am un-packing and re-packing the motorhome to go to TEXAS to see my son graduate from the Air Force basic training!!!

But I want to share one for sure! (With more to come in the future.)

It is that I LOVE the name of Jesus!
I love that name.
His Name is LIFE!
His Name is TRUTH!
His Name is the reason I live!

His Name is the name above ALL names! I love that I can call upon His Name at any time! I love that the Father gave ME (and YOU) the name of Jesus as a sign of our covenant with Him.

Phil 2:5-12
5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death- even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
NIV

I found this video of Dori's blog and it says it so well, I love it!!!

Blessings,
Sue

Have a wonderful trip! You'll have to do the walk around the river...I can't think of what it's called, but it's there in San Antonio and it's beautiful. Matt will know what I'm talking about, I'll bet. When is grad day? Please tell Matt we said congratulations.

Sounds like you are keeping way to busy. But at least it is family time-and that is a good thing.
Enjoy your time seeing your "man"--I know you have got to be looking forward to that.
Have a safe trip.

Debby is thinking of the Riverwalk. It's downtown here, and a very popular destination for the newly liberated serviceperson.

Enjoy!
