You have to check this out!

Do you remember the November contest when I gave away Godiva Coffee and our precious Lisa from The Preacher’s Wife won?

Check out THIS POST that she just wrote at CWO.

Who would have thought Coffee would have been what would raise you to celebrity status. ;)

Oh how funny! Yes, you thought your little contest was over, didn't you? Well, at least it had a happy ending.

Wonderful! I love how God can use ANYTHING to teach a word or two!

Ok so running through the office yelling in your face loser is bad. Good thing you posted a link so I can stop that behavior.
Seriously very good post Lisa wrote I know I can get caught up in the pride of wanting to be right and letting others know I was right so they don't think I'm always wrong. Public correction can be hurtful from the other side but most often it is best to let Husbands not look bad in front others.
Philippians 2:3-4: puts it all out there.

Oh my goodness Sue. I just read the post over there. Wow. I needed that today. My hubby and I are constantly "battling" about silly things. God's been working on me a lot in the area of humility and pride. I still have FAR to go... I'm so glad God is gracious and patient.

Thank you, Sue, for your spirit of love and kindness and for helping me as a sister in Christ along the journey. I am blessed to "know" you :)

Too funny! So reminds me of The Man and me. I always have to be right (not braggin', just sayin'). Working on it!

Susan

I am glad that my husband and I are not the only ones to argue/or behave this way! Cute story!

I read her post and loved it. It was really funny to me because it happens to me and my DH too. Sometimes I let it go and sometimes I say bring it on like Lisa did. I like the way she saw God in that situation.

I was laughing out loud while reading this article.. I identify with "The Preacher's Wife"

I'm also married to a "preacher" and work one day a week at the office... and love to "be right" as does my husband. It's even more interesting when you're both in front of the entire congregation on a Sunday morning and an "opposing opinion" occurs... makes for an interesting service!!

Laughter is great medicine.
