Worship Him!

I have been on worship teams for the past 2 decades and it is the love of my heart!
I love leading God's people to His throne room to throw down our crowns at His feet.
Though I'm not currently involved on a team, it's my passion to praise HIM!

I had a wonderful time of worship in church last week.
This morning as I spend time in personal worship, I am thinking about these verses and His incredible greatness! I love Him so.

Yes, I get your emails and I am humbled and brought to tears by your stories....
My heart is overcome with the fact that HE IS THE ONLY THING that can fill us,
let Him pour Himself into you today!

Let's worship Him this morning.

Psalm 96:9
Worship the LORD in the splendor of His
holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.

NIV

Psalm 99:5
Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His footstool; He is holy.
NIV

Psalm 100:2-3
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with
joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.
NIV

Hebrews 12:28-29
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."
NIV

Revelations 15:3-4
Great and marvelous are Your deeds, Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways, King of the ages.

Who will not fear You, O Lord, and bring glory to Your
name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for
Your righteous acts have been revealed."

NIV

When we first walked into the church we attend they were already into worship, with the lights dimmed. We knew that INSTANT we were where God was sending us. That has been borne out over and over again to us.

No matter what we are facing, turn on the worship music, crank up the volume and peace settles in :o)

Love Kari Jobe. We have the DVD and it's the BEST! You can just get totally lost in the worship with CFNI. The P&W leader from this particular time at the school is so annointed along with Kari. Whether I have the DVD on or listen to this music in my car, I am always moved and feel totally in the presence of the Lord.

Thanks for sharing the music and the scriptures.

All around us people have been worshipping goddess durga with such fervor and devotion. We Christians have been lighting up the name of Jesus.
But sometimes its shame to see that non-christians worship thier gods with much much duty and devotion than Christians.

I love Him and I miss Him.
I am just coming out of a real dead spot and I so miss Him.
To be lost in His presence bowing low before the throne--what more could your heart hope for?

Dear Sue,

This is my first time to your awesome blog! I've had such a nice time here.

I just love Kari Jobe, and I posted that song on my blog this past week! (I'm a new blogger!)

I have her new CD, oh my, just incredible.

Thanks for sharing your story of hope and healing.

I'll be back!

Blessings to you,

Susan

Thanks Sue for showing us the heart of worship...

I just read this morning in Isaiah 12:4,5: "And in that day you will say, "Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the LORD, For He has done excellent things.""

Even though this is in reference to when Christ returns, we can have that heart of worship right now.

What a day that will be when we worship at Jesus feet...

Thanks Ruth,
I am so blessed and honored by all the awards that people have given me, but I felt it was starting to take away from the glory that I want God to get for anything I do. When I say that quote on Gina's blog I thought it said it quite perfectly!!

Love ya,
Sue

This is one of my all time FAVORITE songs...in fact, I have the entire cd.

Thank-you...for leading us into worship today. It's interesting...how you've shared...along the lines of what I shared on my blog.

He TRULY is our everything.

hey sue...kari jobe is so full of God in leading us to worship Him...i can't get enough of church and worship...our worship service yesterday so brought us to God...every chance when we are free on saturdays, we go over to Gateway to praise our God with kari when she is in town...it just takes me aback to think that we will all be in heaven praising Him together...no wonder I love you---you're a worship leader and I follow those people all around right now---where are you going to be next cause I want to come sing with you to our glorious God...think I'll go put on See The Morning and take a jog...

I've learned to especially cherish the times when I worship God in the midst of despair. I know this sounds weird (the fact that I cherish these trying times), but there is just something so beautiful about being able to come to God as an empty, broken vessel.

We just sang that song at our church last week, for the second time!! I get so lost in it. I'm on the worship team at our church and have a real heart for learning more, seeking Him and teaching young women about worship too! I have been enjoying your blog on this Sabbath day, in CA after a horrendous week 'vacationing' here in the fires! But God's grace is beyond all my expectations and we are now enjoying some relaxing time. I'll come back and visit you! Blessed Sabbath
