June Praise and Coffee Giveaway!

Hello girlfriends!

It's June.
It's my birthday month!
So, to celebrate ME, I would like you all to come for cake and coffee on the 13th.
Oh, and if you could bring some cake that would be great! :)

As much as I would love that, I know you're probably not able to make the trip so I'm going to ask you to do something else for my birthday...

Since we know that God has created each and every one of us unique and beautiful, I want you to tell me what quality or talent that God put into YOU that makes you beautiful and unique.

I know, I know...you're like, "that freaks me out a little, that would be pride!"

But, it's not. I want you to share what the Creator has done in you.
Let's give Him the glory. He's made all things beautiful and you are included in that!

It's time to celebrate YOU.

And yes, that's what I want for my birthday!
Nothing blesses my heart more than when a woman embraces who God made her to be :)

I want to share one of my favorite verses with you, in fact it's the verse that changed my life forever when I heard it and gave my heart to the Lord.

Matthew 11:28-30
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

It was 1984 and I was a desperate and lonely teenager. These words breathed life into my soul and I've never been the same.

I pray that today, whatever you are walking through, they will be life and peace to you.

The humidity goes on vacation, the leaves turn gorgeous colors and dance all over my fields, and Lauren gets to start Kindergarten; a goal she's had all summer.

We had a really great summer but I love our seasons and Michigan out does itself in Autumn!
