I couldn't quite make out what he said at the very end. Any ideas?
At the end he says, I dare you to trust that I love you just as you are and not "as you should be" because you're never going to be "as you should be."

I've been a Brennan Manning reader for years but I've not seen this before. It seem that the ONE THING that God would truly have us to understand is the ONE THING we forget (or never understand.) Thank you for posting this. I don't even know how many times I've watched it now :)

I love how he coveys the truth of God! His book The Ragamuffin Gospel is one of the best books I have ever read~ Thanks for posting this Sue!
This is why He says, "if you love me, you will obey my commands"
He knows that when we understand His love for us, we will fall in love with Him and the natural response to that will be obedience.
Beating people up for their sin will never bring them to (true) repentance...but the message of grace will.
