A simple but profound truth.
The greatest love is displayed in us as we lay down our own wants and needs (our life) for the wants and needs of others.
Today let's look at this verse in light of our marriages.
What part of my life (wants, needs, desires) can I lay down for my husband?
There can be no regrets when we choose to love the way that Jesus loved.
I'm praying for our marriages!

An important word, and a timely one. Most other influences in the world tell us just the opposite. We need constant reminding. thanks, Sue!
So true! I fear I don't lay my life down enough!
Such an important reminder! Submitting to one another in love is a a gift from God to help us grow to new levels in our walk.
