Praise and Coffee

Two of my favorite things to do; praise God and drink coffee! Although my affection for coffee can't come close to my love for the Lord, I sure do enjoy time with the Lord and my cup of java!

I love spending quiet time- that turns out to be not so quiet- with the Lord. Reading His Word, studying what it means and that almost always turns into a time of praise and worship to Him.

So, pour yourself a cup and we'll chat about this dance we call life.

Hey Sue, on that note,have you read Karen Kingsbury's books A Time to Dance? Right on with what you are saying there.

Like your new sight.

What do you mean you don't get a quiet moment? :)

There is something peaceful about sharing a cup of coffee with the lord. Both can warm your heart and your body. I love the quite of early morning- it reminds that his mercy is new each day.

Lamentations 3

22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23 Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”

I like the new site also!

You're a girl after my own heart - praise and coffee - two of my favorite things!!

I usual don't comment or even check outside of my circle of friends that blog, but I noticed you'd left a comment on my friend Amy's blog.

I don't have this listed on my personal profile but I am also married to a pastor. We have ministered for 23 years and also planted a church over 11 years ago. We are still at this church and are loving it. We have faced MANY challenges and have many stories and wonderful victories. It has been an amazing journey with SO MANY life lessons.

Anyhow - just thought we had so many things in common that I wanted to stop and say "Blessings" on you and your family in this season of transition.

Hi Sue

Got your comment. I just checked back on your profile and started laughing about your movie selection. My kids would all agree that your list is identical to mine....inclucing the Christmas movies....too funny!!

Out of curiousity do you watch the cooking shows and home reno's. These are the only shows that interest me other than I have a weird fixation with the weather network (I know this is odd).

Anyhow, it's always comforting to know that I'm in good company.

Be Blessed

About the gambling well, I gave that all up after attending Gamblers Anonymous. They have a special group just for us Pastor's wives (just kidding).

Thanks for all the laughter. I've had a couple of very intense weeks so the laughter is welcomed!!

If you want a laugh read my blog on Garden of Laundry...as a fellow gardener you will probably appectate this story.
