My husband read everything. One comment from this man gave me the creeps. I showed it to Tony. I thought I had misread it. He assured me I did not misread it. I canceled the game and blocked the application. I don't have time for games anyway. I can see how tempting it might be for someone whose marriage is in trouble.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636139298576673779.post-28101371321724453942010-01-26T10:18:40.512-05:002010-01-26T10:18:40.512-05:00This is a wonderful post. We must never give the appearance that is even a chance for another option.

I have many male friends from my years working in law enforcement. DaHubby has become friends with one in particular. Yet, when that friend comes from out of state for a visit, we still wait for DaHubby to be home before the friend comes over to catch up.

Our former pastor said his rule was always always ALWAYS to leave his office door open when meeting with a woman alone. If she needed a more private venue, other arrangements would be made.

This point was really hit home when, soon after we were married, I was still in email contact with the man with whom I had a previous relationship of many years. DaHubby explained that no matter our intent, the appearance and just the "chance" of a misunderstanding and/or something going astray was just too great a chance to take in our early marriage. I resisted, argued but eventually and reluctantly agreed that he was right. That was "old life" which had no place in my "new life".

Great post to bring bring up some great discussion.Beth/Mom2TwoVikingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00093286971978819404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636139298576673779.post-70987655301862335092010-01-26T08:58:30.604-05:002010-01-26T08:58:30.604-05:00A fantastic post and a much needed reminder...no o...A fantastic post and a much needed reminder...no one is exempt from temptation. The enemy is relentless. Praying for those who are unaware of the consequences of playing with fire. There are always consequences for every decision and action we take. Praying the Spirit will be convicting in the lives of God's children.
Thank you sister, God bless,
CherieCherie Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560483336790854099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636139298576673779.post-81561605184946045802010-01-26T08:42:19.186-05:002010-01-26T08:42:19.186-05:00Thanks Kristina, you've lived this one and I&#...Thanks Kristina, you've lived this one and I'm so thankful that now you can use what you've learned to humbly help others.
